Hi, I'm Hope!

Bio

I'm Hope Gabrielle Tuin, piano teacher and founder of Hope Gabrielle Piano Studio. I am originally from Michigan and moved to Colorado in 2017. I loved the idea of being in the fresh air and being able to see the mountains. They still amaze me every day.

I fell in love with music from a young age and started playing piano when I was 13 years old. I love listening to all kinds of music from jazz and rock to classical to EDM.

I cherish watching my students grow and engaging with them in the areas of music that interest them the most! I aim to provide a balanced curriculum, with a focus on both technique and musical knowledge which will help them not only learn their pieces but understand what is happening in each piece musically. Most importantly, I want to teach them that music is fun! They can learn their favorite songs or pieces in time, and learn what makes their favorites so unique.

I've been teaching piano since 2021 and gained even more experience with teaching kiddos starting 2022.

PPCC Symposiums

I have performed in front of both vocalists and instrumentalists and received feedback from my peers and teachers on the pieces I presented.

PPCC Recitals

I have also performed in PPCC recitals, where pieces are required to be memorized and played in front of a live audience

UCCS Recitals

I've performed 30 minutes of memorized music in front of a live audience. I also performed a 60-minute Senior recital composed of classical and jazz-inspired music, as well as original pieces and songs with some backing tracks created by me in Ableton Live.
